The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man believed to be involved in an attempted sexual assault on February 3, 2014 in the area of Mills Park Drive and Silverwood Way in Rancho Cordova. 

At 10:50 a.m. on Monday, February 3rd, an adult female was walking to her gym when she was approached by an unknown man who pulled her to the ground and attacked her.  The female victim was able to fight the male off and flee.  The suspect is described as a black male adult, between 19-22 years old.  He is 5’11” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds.  At the time of the attack, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black shirt, and grey sweat pants.  He was carrying a black back pack and wearing bright red/orange tennis shoes.  

Detectives are asking anyone with information pertaining to the identity of this suspect or information related to the crime, to please contact the Sheriff's Sexual Assault Bureau at (916) 874-5115.
