Friday Night Out for TeensFriday Night Out is a new program created in partnership with the Rancho Cordova Police Department for Rancho Cordova Youths (12-17 yrs old). The Friday Night Out program was designed and intended to give our youths a safe alternative for having fun on Friday nights throughout the summer months. Only Rancho Cordova students will be allowed to participate and must present a student ID and/or be verified as students before being admitted. The program will begin on Friday June 13th and continuing each Friday night through August 8th. There will be NO program on July 4th. Each week, Friday Night Out will be located at Mills Middle School (10439 Coloma Road click for MAP) and the hours will be from 5:00 p.m. - 9:30p.m. Doors will close after 5:30pm and students will not be allowed to re-enter after leaving. There will be a $5.00 entrance fee each Friday night. Activities in the Multi-Purpose Room will consist of movies, video games such as; Guitar Hero, Battle of the Bands, etc… Activities in the Gym will include; Basketball and other athletics and food, fundraisers and sponsors will be in the Quad. School dress code will be strictly enforced. (See page 8) At least two Rancho Cordova Police Officers will be present each night with additional staff consisting of volunteers, teachers, church members and community leaders.
