HOMICIDE ON FITE CIRCLE

On May 20, 2009, at 10:33 a.m., Rancho Cordova Police Department officers responded to the report of a body that had been found behind a business in the 3100 block of Fite Circle. Officers arrived and found an unidentified Black male adult lying behind a dumpster. The victim had suffered a wound to his upper body and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sacramento County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are treating the case as a murder investigation. However, they have yet to identify any suspect or a motive for the crime.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s office will determine the cause of death and release the victim’s name once he has been identified and his next of kin have been notified.
