Police Chief Reuben Meeks holds first Inter-Faith Advisory Board Meeting


Chief Reuben Meeks hosted the first Chief’s Inter-Faith Advisory Board on June 4, 2009. The Chief’s Inter-Faith Advisory Board was established to open dialogue and maintain the level of trust between local church leaders and the Rancho Cordova Police Department.  The Board will meet quarterly.

Board membership consists of pastors, bishops, and delegates of thirteen local churches in the Rancho Cordova area.   They are as follows:  Ranon Maddox, Delegate, Center of Praise; Pastor Christine Leigh-Taylor, Rector; St. Clement’s Episcopal Church; Bishop Joseph Willis, Foundation of Faith; Pastor Mike Mitchum, Cordova Neighborhood Church; Pastor Larry Stafford, Cordova Church of Christ; Associate Pastor Martin McCrea; Oasis Christian Mission Center; Associate Pastor Jesse Smith, First Covenant Church; Pastor D. Steven Krogh, Grace Lutheran Church; Senior Pastor David McFarland, New Life Center; Pastor Joel Pappas, Oasis Christian Mission Center; Pastor Becky Goodwin, United Methodist Church; Pastor Byron Hill, Seventh Day Adventist; Pastor Joseph Gilbert, Delegate, St. John Vianney Parish; and Pastor Paul Edwards, Sun River Church.
