Organization

The Rancho Cordova Police Department is organized into several main components.

Office of the Chief of Police		Patrol Operations Bureau The Patrol Division is the "front line" of the Rancho Cordova Police Department.

Traffic Enforcement Bureau The RCPD Traffic Unit’s primary purpose is the reduction of traffic collisions on the streets of Rancho Cordova. This is a large responsibility, especially considering that many more people are killed or injured in traffic collisions than in violent crimes.		Problem Oriented Policing The Problem Oriented Policing (P.O.P.) detail of the Rancho Cordova Police Department is a specialized unit within the police department which deals with a range of community problems and crime prevention.

Investigations Bureau The Rancho Cordova Police Department Detective Bureau is staffed by one Detective Sergeant and four Detectives.		Compliments or Concerns?
