The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with approximately 25 different local businesses, non-profits, and government organizations to bring resources to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our communities.
This event will take place at the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Central Station located at 7000 65th St Expy in Sacramento, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27th, 2019.
Representatives from the Department of Human Assistance, Sacramento Steps Forward, multiple healthcare providers, Paul Mitchell, Loaves and Fishes, WEAVE, Sacramento Self Help Housing and many others will be on site to provide services. Other organizations will also be present to provide food, haircuts, gift bags, and more.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office will hold several more of these events in different locations within the county throughout 2019. These events are another example of the steps taken by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office to provide access to resources, services and opportunities for the homeless population within our communities. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office is working with our community and government partners to address the issues of homelessness at the neighborhood level.
