RCPD and the Rancho Cordova Police Activities League host its annual Christmas in Cordova on Sunday, December 15, 2019. This one-day family event held at Mills Middle School is designed with the simple premise that “every child should have a present to open at Christmas.”
The event features a “shopping mall,” where parents of children aged newborn to 17 select gifts for their children with the help of their own personal shopper. Then, each parent enters the toy-wrapping room where volunteers help wrap gifts, so they’re ready to be placed under the tree on Christmas day. The event also includes an arts and craft area for children to make gifts for their parents and a surprise visit from Santa.
