Christmas in Cordova

Each year, RCPD and its partners host Christmas in Cordova. This one-day family event held at Mills Middle School is designed with the simple premise that “every child should have a present to open at Christmas.”

The event features a “shopping mall,” where parents of children aged newborn to 17 select gifts for their children with the help of their own personal shopper. Then, each parent enters the toy-wrapping room where volunteers help wrap gifts, so they’re ready to be placed under the tree on Christmas day. The event also includes an arts and craft area for children to make gifts for their parents, meals for the families, and a surprise visit from Santa.

The event is sponsored by RCPD, the Rancho Cordova Police Activities League, Sun River Church, the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership, and other partners. For more information about Christmas in Cordova, call 916-875-5852.

Information on the 2019 Christmas in Cordova season will be posted in fall 2019.
