Neighborhood Watch Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program designed for neighborhoods in the City of Rancho Cordova. Neighborhood Watch is one of the oldest and most effective crime prevention programs in the country. The goal of the program is to bring neighbors together in partnership with RCPD, and teach them steps to reduce crime and ways to be the eyes and ears of our community.

There are over 100 active Neighborhood Watch groups in our City. When you start a Neighborhood Watch group, you will get to know your neighbors better. When you know the people around you, it becomes easier to spot suspicious people and identify vehicles that are not normally in your neighborhood.
